Born in 1974 in Milan, he graduated in Orchestra Conducting with the highest marks, in Pipe Organ and Composition and Opera Singing at Conservatorio G. Verdi in Milan.
He also studied Elocution and Acting at the Academy of Mario Scaccia in Rome. He performed in many musical shows and plays and is a well-known personal or young people TV program at Mediaset Italy.
He is the teacher and conductor of the World Ivlusic Orchestra at Conservatorio G. Verdi in Milan and director of the cultural association called Ars Nostra too. He conducted various orchestras in Italy and took part in different tours in Europe and Japan; worked with Franco Zeffirelli and Riccardo Muti at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, with Giorgio Strehler at the Piccolo Teatro in Milan and filmed with Gabriele Salvatores.
In 2015 he recorded the album Essence dāArte which includes piano music composed and performed by himself.
Giacomo Rita
He was born in 1988 and earned a Master of Fine Arts in Music for Motion Pictures and Contemporary Media from the Film Scoring Academy of Europe. During his time at the academy, he was mentored by experienced professionals such as Andy Hill, a former music supervisor and producer at Walt Disney Studios, and renowned composers Christopher Young and Garry Schyman.
Giacomo gained experience in making arrangements, recording, and performing live. He also had the opportunity to conduct his music with an orchestration ensemble.
As an emerging composer, Giacomo received several awards, including the award for Best Original Composition by a Young Composer at the World Soundtrack Awards 2022. His music was also performed live by the Brussels Philharmonic.
Founded in 2013 the Ars Nostra gave priority to the establishment of a permanent orchestra to allow the audience to be in touch with various musical genres of different ages. Ars Nostra entrusted the artistic management to MĀ° Stefano Menegale an orchestra conductor who worked with many Italian and foreign theatres and was linked to TV and Cinema world too.
Thanks to this collaboration the repertoire moves from classical to contemporary music, from musicals to movie soundtracks as well.
